Ultimate Frisbee - Ultimate Frisbee Spring Season - High School Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact team sport. It is a fun and exciting sport that blends the athleticism of soccer, the strategy and throwing/catching skills of football, and the teamwork of basketball. The game is played by throwing the disc (frisbee) to a teammate and once the disc is caught, that player must must stop and throw to another teammate. You score a point if you catch the disc in the end zone. Interceptions, incomplete passes, and passes out of bounds are turnovers. The sport was invented in the late 1960's and is now played in more than 42 countries. In 2012, there were 5.1 million ultimate players in the US. Ultimate is a life-long sport and there are many opportunities to play in college and as an adult.
