Parents report that kids come home from Kids’ Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new recipes! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! And everyone practices essential life skills like teamwork, time management, patience, along with the obvious skills like slicing, measuring, and cooking! On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids’ Test Kitchen’s enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Kids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation isencouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own.Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes.Yes – join us again! Each series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare and explore!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies andcan work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe.*Families who have students with allergies or other necessary dietary modifications will be required to complete our diet modification form before the first class.

March: 3/19 - Lego Social Group is a fun and creative place for friends to build legos and make connections! 3/24- Raptor Tales Rescue Presentation- Join us for an educational presentation by a local rescue. Raptor Tales rescues and rehabilitates birds of prey, hawks, owls, eagles, falcons, vultures, and hummingbirds, in our area. We will hear about the importance of this type of a rescue and at the end meet the educational ambassador, a Barred Owl named Blue. Although this event is free, registration is required. This is not a drop off event, please register every member attending. You can register at Grafton RecApril: 4/16 - Gardening and Decorating Bird Houses is a hands-on, sensory-friendly program designed especially for our adaptive participants. This inclusive class combines light gardening activities with creative birdhouse decorating, encouraging self-expression, fine motor skills, and a connection to nature in a relaxed, supportive environment.May: 5/7 - Cookie Decorating is a fun, inclusive, and sensory-friendly program where participants can get creative while decorating cookies to celebrate someone special in their lives—or simply themselves. In a calm, supportive environment, participants will use icing, sprinkles, and decorations to design their own sweet creations while building fine motor skills and expressing creativity. Cookies can be shared with a loved one, caregiver, family member, friend, or enjoyed as a personal treat. A joyful, pressure-free way to create, connect, and celebrate!

Our Challenge Island STEAM Teams have been hired to design a new Slimetopia® Amusement Park and fill it with different slimy lands. From Unicorn Slime in Once Upon a Slime Land to Yellow Butter Submarine Slime in Under the Sea Slime Land, to Icy Color Changing Slime in Snowy Slime Land it’s easy to see how this camp became an international slimy sensation 3/19 Animal Slimetopia: From Zoo to Goo Calling all animal lovers! Set up camp on Animal Island, uncover a brand-new land, and unearth the incredible secrets of the animals and their slimes. Some of the creations we will be making are Purrfect Kitty Slime, Flamingoo, Panda Puff, Monkey Muck, Stingray Stretch, and much more! We will also play animal themed games to win prizes! This creature camp is sure to be the learning adventure of all time!4/3 Slimetopia® 5, Diners, Drive-Thrus and Dives©: You and your STEAM Team have been selected to host the new Slimetopia Diners, Drive-Thrus and Dives reality TV show! Prepare to embark on a cross-country culinary road trip to the slimiest eating establishments in the USA! With such instant Slimetopia classics as In and Out Burger Slime, Tex Mex Slime, King Cake Slime, Clam Chowder Slime and Peach Cobbler Ala Mode Slime, you’ll  get an unforgettable “taste” of ooey, gooey local flavors from coast to coast.5/8 Jurassic Slime Camp Step back in time to a world of dinosaurs, discoveries, and dino-sized slime! Campers become junior paleontologists as they mix prehistoric potions, create fossil-filled slimes, and explore hands-on science inspired by the age of dinosaurs.
