3/261:30 pm: Taking & Organizing PhotosIn this class, we dive into the Camera app on the iPhone, exploring different features of the camera and adjustments that can be made for taking pictures in different settings. We also go into Photos and discuss organizing photos into Favorites and Albums. 4/91:30 pm: Introduction to Editing PhotosThis class explores the features available in the iPhone for editing photos. We discuss different ways to organize our photos, then select a photo to practice editing with. We learn about filters, adjusting colors and lighting, and cropping/resizing our photos. 4/231:30 pm: Staying on Schedule Using Calendar and RemindersDiscover how to use the Calendar and Reminders apps to keep track of appointments, tasks, and daily routines. You’ll learn how to add events, set reminders, create lists, and even use Siri to help you stay on schedule with ease. 5/71:30 pm: Using the iPhone for Health and EmergenciesIn this class, we explore how the iPhone can help in various emergencies and provide insights into our health. We learn how to set up emergency contacts, use the SOS feature, enable voice activation, and use the Health app to identify patterns and changes in our physical health. 5/211:30 pm: Personalizing Your DeviceIn this class, we learn about ways to customize the iPhone and iPad to suit your preferences better. We’ll cover reorganizing our Home Screens, creating folders, changing the appearance of our displays, and changing the image used for the wallpapers and Lock Screens.6/41:30 pm: Exploring Outdoor PhotographyAfter an introduction to basic photography concepts, we walk to a preselected location to learn about photography techniques, including portrait mode, panoramic photos, and more. 3/263:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Using the Procreate AppIn this class, we cover the basics of creating art in Procreate, the most popular digital art app for the iPad. We cover various features in Procreate, such as colors, brushes, layers, and more. Artwork produced in class can be brought home on a phone or computer. 4/93:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Working with Symmetry & ColorThis class covers advanced techniques for creating artwork in Procreate, including a deeper dive into Procreate features, drawing techniques, and settings. Artwork produced in class can be brought home on a phone or computer. 4/233:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Drawing Creatures and CrittersProcreate makes it simple to use a reference picture to guide our art. In this class, we learn to find reference photos and import them into our artwork to use as guides. We draw various animals, then unique creations of our very own. Artwork produced in class can be taken home on a smartphone or computer. 5/73:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Turning Names to ArtThis class covers using Procreate to explore fonts, styles, and techniques for drawing words and names in colorful, creative ways. Participants learn to draw in 3D, use basic calligraphy techniques, and find complementary colors. Artwork produced in class can be brought home on a phone or computer. 5/213:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Animation Made SimpleThis class dives into Procreate’s animation features. We learn how animation works, then create our own animated image by drawing each frame. Artwork produced in class can be brought home on a phone or computer. 6/43:00 pm: Digital Art for Beginners: Drawing from ObservationThis class explores specific techniques used for observational drawing on the iPad. We explore using layers, different brushes and colors, and shading and outlining techniques to create our drawings.
