With roots in Cuba and Africa, and contributions from the Puerto Rican community in New York City Salsa dancing continues to grow in popularity largely in part to the amazing rhythmic music. Bachata dancing originated in the Dominican Republic and is now danced all over the world. The music is sweet to listen to and is characterized by unique guitar sounds.

You will learn individual footwork in the first part of the class that can be incorporated into dancing with a partner in the second half of class. Don't worry if you haven't danced before. This experience will take you step by step.

  • Must wear shoes that glide on the floor
