Lifeguard Certification Course

Interested in becoming a lifeguard? Then this is the class for you! 

You will be trained and then after passing a test certified as a Red Cross lifeguard.

Please note this is not a swim lesson - you should be comfortable in the water and with swimming! 

Details
  • Our department is fortunate to have two Red Cross certified lifeguard instructors on our team this summer!
  • Please read this entire message!
  • We are offering 2 classes - we need at least 2 people per class for the class to run.
  • We may combine classes if one class does not have enough people.
  • After completing the course and passing the test you will be lifeguard certified.
  • Lake Chauncy is still looking for lifeguards, we hope that you would consider after completing the course, working for us, but this is not required, and we can not guarantee positions if we get more than 3-4 applicants..
  • This is NOT a swim lesson. Applicants should be more than comfortable swimming and being in and around water.

Schedule
  • Class 1:
  • Thursday 6/24 -9:00am - 2:00pm
  • Friday 6/25 - 2:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Saturday 6/26 - 9:00am - 2:00pm
  • Breaks are included.
  • Class 2:
  • 6/28-7/2
  • 5:00-8:00PM
  • Cost $175
  • Location: Lake Chauncy
  • You MUST attend all sessions of your class! If you pick class 1 you must attend 6/24, 6/25, and 6/26.
  • If you choose class 2 you must attend 6/28-7/2.
